What is the CFCA Athletics Booster Club?
The Cape Fear Christian Academy Athletics Booster Club is a volunteer-based organization made up of parents and other family members of CFCA students. Any parent or family member of a CFCA student from PreK-12th grade is welcome to join us.
The CFCA Boosters provide athletic supplies and other items not required by the state or sport associations and not provided by the CFCA Athletic Department, but wanted and desired by the athletes and coaches. While the Athletics budget covers uniforms and sport equipment, the Boosters may purchase sweatshirts or t-shirts for the team, pay for a chartered bus to transport the team to state playoffs, contribute funds to buy a new scoreboard, championship rings, or pay for minor upgrades to a field or the gym.
The Booster Club raises money through fundraisers such as the concession stands at home games, the annual Golf Outing, and by securing donations and sponsorships from the community. Volunteers are always welcome to participate in any of our fundraising activities!
There is no fee or application to join the Booster Club! Anyone interested can simply show up at a meeting or contact one of the Booster Club board members to find out how you can help support our CFCA athletes!
